Have You Ever Been Part Of Starting A "Buzz"??
My second book, THE PROCRASTINATING CHILD: A HANDBOOK FOR ADULTS TO HELP CHILDREN STOP PUTTING THINGS OFF, will be released to bookstores October 15.

Please do me a favor and help to start a "buzz" at bookstores about my book. Anytime you're in a bookstore, ask if they have a copy of THE PROCRASTINATING CHILD. Whether they have it or not, doesn't matter. BUT the more requests they hear, the more they are likely to order it, and once it's on the shelves, people might even decide to buy it. What an amazing concept!

There are some exciting things happening with this book:

  1. It was written up in the September 23 issue of TIME magazine. Receiving national media coverage like that is a FABULOUS thing to happen before a book is even released. I'm thrilled.
  2. We've received approval to offer this book to schools as a FUND-RAISER. The publisher, Walker & Co., will sell it to schools at a generous discount, so any schools using this promotion will:
  • * generate money
  • help the children blast away habits of putting things off
  • ease the stress of both parents & teachers who have been agonizing over children who procrastinate
  • be looked upon as a hero in the community for promoting a fund-raiser that actually helps families.

We will begin by offering to only 300 schools. Our fears tend to be subconscious and often have the power to immobilize us into a "putting things off" state. But once we identify that fear, & give it a name, it usually loses that power.
