The greatest amount of wasted time is the time spent not
getting started. -- Dawson Trotman

3 SIMPLE STEPS TO CLUTTER BUSTING

Spring has sprung. Ready to tackle some that that clutter that has
accumulated over the past weeks… months… maybe lifetime?

Ah, but there is that same old obstacle: Where to start??

Here are 3 simple steps to start breaking your clutter habit:

First. Select one SMALL area to clutter bust; not the whole kitchen,
just one section of the countertop; not the whole office, just the
top of one file cabinet or bookcase.

Get it? Messy closet? Just one shelf. Messy car? Just the front seat
or glove box.

Second. Set a timer for 15 or 30 minutes to work on it. Don't do
anything else during that time.

Realize that if you don't have a place to put something, it
automatically becomes clutter. So while that timer is ticking:
put things away OR
make a place to put something and then put it away OR
get rid of it.

Third. Approach the job with:
two huge trash cans or bags (one for recycling & one for tossing out) ,
a container for stuff you will donate and an attitude of "If I don't need it or use it NOW, I will recycle it, toss it, or donate it."

Even clearing out this one small area will leave you feeling terrific.
You know the old saying, "Success breeds success." And did you ever
Notice that clutter seems to suck the energy out of the marrow of your
Bones?

Well, every time you look at his clutter busted area, you will feel successful, more organized and - best of all - energized.

If you need help, take a look through The Clutter-Busting Handbook.
It's an easy, quick read and many people say it changed they way they
think about clutter and made it easy to get rid of stuff without breaking
their hearts.

Once you get started, you might even enjoy bringing order to your
chaotic clutter.

Happy Spring time.
Happy Clutter Busting.
